TwinScan has the power of “Two”. Two optics benches and two interlocking scan patterns combined with an omnidirectional scan field make TwinScan almost “Two” good to be true.
Metrologic’s IS220 TwinScanTM teams two laser scanning engines, producing two interlocking scan patterns for an increased scan area. While TwinScan has been successfully used in Reverse Vending Operations, like the redemption
and recycling of empty beverage cans, the IS220 TwinScan can easily be integrated into special conveyer operations, as well as other industrial applications.
Offering a high first-pass read rate of all 1D codes and RSS, Metrologic’s TwinScan is a versatile, aggressive, OEM device in a housing suitable
for a broad range of industrial applications.
The IS220 TwinScan offers flash upgradeable firmware. This means increased reliability, faster system updates, and less down time. TwinScan also provides built-in failure diagnostics with a prominent visible display that easily identifies
errors, reducing service time. All of these features and more equate to lower costs.
