Product Description
 
ScanQuest® engines are miniature laser scanners with maximum scanning capabilities. With a patented automatic trigger, ScanQuest provides accurate scanning quickly and reliably.

Metrologic’s ScanQuest offers bar code scanning that’s easy to configure and integrate. This powerful scan engine provides flexibility to usersthrough a host of features that can enable a variety of applications.

The ScanQuest has built-in decoding for versatile OEM operations which can be easily updated in the field to keep the scanner current. Besides the powerful software, the engine is mechanically robust as well. The unit is entirely enclosed to prevent contamination from the environment.

The modular design can also be incorporated into a number of different mounting configurations. With all of these options, the ScanQuest makes the addition of scanning to any application a snap.

Note: The IS4125 is optically the same as the IS4120. The difference is in the firmware. Metrologic has upgraded the unit’s firmware to include more functionality and add the ability to flash upgrade units in the field. The IS4125 is backwards compatible with the IS4120 and supports its feature set and means of serial programming. However, the configuration manual that ships with the IS4125 is different than the IS4120 to accommodate the new firmware. Any questions about the IS4125 or IS4120, please contact your local Metrologic representative.
