Metrologic ernennt Darius Adamczyk zum neuen Chief Executive Officer

Blackwood, New Jersey – März 26, 2007 Metrologic Instruments, Inc., hat bekannt gegeben, dass Darius Adamczyk zum neuen CEO ernannt wurde. Darius Adamczyk tritt damit die Nachfolge von Harry C. Knowles, dem Firmengründer von Metrologic, an. Darius war zuvor bei Ingersoll Rand beschäftigt und übernimmt sein neues Amt mit sofortiger Wirkung.
"Mit Darius haben wir jemanden ausgesucht, der die Vision hat, unseren Wachstum weiter fortzusetzen und der über die nötige Sensibilität verfügt, den starken Verbund zwischen unseren Mitarbeitern, unseren Partnern und Kunden, die Metrologic an die Spitze dieser Branche gebracht haben, weiter zu festigen" - so Firmengründer Harry C. Knowles, der seit Juli 2006 den Posten als CEO vorübergehend übernommen hatte.

Mr. Adamczyk wird auch in Metrologic's Board of Directors gewählt werden, wo er zusammen mit Mr. Knowles vertreten sein wird.
Nach der Übernahme von Metrologic im Januar dieses Jahres durch Francisco Partners, die ihren Sitz in Menlo Park, CA. haben, ist Mr. Knowles als Chairman zurückgetreten und Mitglied im Board of Directors geworden. Er ist dort zusammen mit Vertretern von Francisco Partners und Elliot Associates, einem Investment Unternehmen und Partner von Francisco.
