Metrologic Instruments Announces Details for Teleconference and Audio Web Conference to Discuss its First Quarter 2006 Financial Results

Blackwood, New Jersey – May 1, 2006 -- Metrologic Instruments, Inc. (NASDAQ-NMS:MTLG), announces the dial in information for its teleconference scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Eastern Time May 10, 2006 to discuss the Company’s first quarter financial results which will be released on May 9, 2006.
